Jailed Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain on Monday withdrew his plea in a Delhi courtroom looking for contempt towards the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly leaking CCTV movies of him in Tihar jail to the media.
Jain’s counsel withdrew the plea from Rouse Avenue Courtroom in relation to the matter of leaked CCTV footage from his jail cell which exhibits the minister purportedly getting a therapeutic massage, receiving guests and being served meals from exterior.
The plea had been moved by the AAP chief towards the ED alleging that the central probe company had leaked the footage regardless of the enterprise given in courtroom.
Jain had earlier in November moved a particular courtroom looking for restrain on CCTV footage or particulars of Tihar Jail.
