In a weird incident, a person attacked his spouse with a knife inside a police station in Karnataka whereas the couple was present process marital counselling. The lady sustained grievous accidents to her neck however is out of hazard, information company PTI reported.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Hassan district inside a ladies’s police station after the spouse had filed a criticism alleging “torture” and ‘ill-treatment” by her 23-year-old husband. The man suspected her of infidelity and attacked her out of anger through the counselling session, the company mentioned.

The couple had been married for greater than two years and had been requested to come back in for marital counselling on Sunday, the place the person was questioned about his behaviour. When the lady accused him of misbehaving together with her over suspicion that she was having an extra-marital affair and refused to go residence with him, the person took out a knife from his pocket that he had introduced from residence and attacked her.

Cops rushed to overpower the person and took him into custody instantly after the assault. His spouse, who suffered a deep lower on her neck, was taken to a close-by hospital, the place she is receiving therapy and is out of hazard.
“The spouse’s accusations and refusal to go together with him apparently angered the person to the extent that he took out a knife from his pocket, which he had introduced from residence, and attacked her contained in the police station. He tried to stab her within the neck which left a deep lower,” a senior police officer instructed the company.
The man has been arrested and additional probe is on.
