A toddler was killed and one other was severely injured on Thursday after they have been hit by a practice alongside a railway line within the western German city of Recklinghausen, native authorities stated.
Bild newspaper stated the victims have been dragged by a freight practice for a number of hundred meters (yards).

“It is horrible. Youngsters and trains and at such a younger age, it is simply horrible what occurred right here and one can solely hope the mother and father can have the energy to beat this nice misfortune,” Herbert Reul, the inside minister within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, instructed journalists on the scene.
“Why, how come, these are all questions that nobody can but reply and would not remedy something,” Reul stated.
